What the other food bloggers are doing...

I found these via the new blogger search tool & thought I'd share a few while I'm procrastinating on schoolwork (links via images...):

Like the concept, but content ain't that great (or, in some cases, it downright sucks):

Food Blog S'cool

"Join this forum and together we can learn more about the technicalites of blogging and make our collective blogs even more delectable than they are already. This is a forum for all food and drink bloggers."

"MealMe is a place for you to share your dining experiences. A place for anyone who lives to eat and loves to talk about it...Contribute your food pictures to MealMe. It's free, it's fun and you'll be helping fellow diners discover the spots to hit, and the ones to avoid. So grab your camera, whet your appetite and show us what you find. We'll be waiting with our bibs on!"

Cheap Eats

"Your guide to eating cheap including tips, recipes and techniques."

This one is cute, but makes my teeth hurt:

"A blog about candy, things made with sugar, things made with chocolate, you get the idea ... these are my reviews of candy that I've tried recently"

WOWZA - I am blown away by these:

I believe this lady is a professional...her recipes include "Ginger-Cream Filled Pumpkin Cupcakes with Chocolate Ganache Frosting" and "Chocolate Tarragon Cupcakes with Tarragon Cream Cheese Frosting". Exciting stuff...

This one is interesting: "Why the name "Chocolate & Zucchini"? I thought it was a good metaphor for my cooking style : Zucchini illustrates my focus on healthy/natural eating - fresh produce, as little processed food as possible, artisanal products, a preference for organic or natural foods when possible (and not outrageously priced), you get the picture. And Chocolate represents my decidedly marked taste for anything sweet in general and chocolate, glorious chocolate, in particular. So there you have it, Chocolate & Zucchini!"

I like the setup of the blog...and it includes an "edible guide to NYC"!

Apparently Chocolate & Zucchini has also won the 2004 Food Blog Award (yes, such a thing exists - where do we sign up?) and has been featured on the likes of Elle Magazine and BBC News.
